I went back to the 5th Ave. Apple store tonight and this time I had some better equipment.  I brought a tripod, Nikkor 10.5 mm Fishey and Nikkor 18-200mm VR.  The first pilgrims were there and in line, at least one coming as far as Germany.  The photos turned out very nice.  Enjoy!

The entire Flickr set is here.

Yeah, I can provide some higher-res images, just let me know which ones you want. I won't be able to get to it for a while because I'm INSIDE THE CUBE! Wooohooo! :-D

Stay tuned, I should be able to provide some tomorrow. And leave your requests for which ones you want larger versions of.

I second the request for hi-res pics. No. 9 is good. Nos. 8 and 3 well done too. You can see the person on the glass stair on no. 8, almost like being suspended mid-air. No.5 has that awesome reflection on the cube. Arrgh, I can't choose.

Higher-res photos
I've made some higher-res photos available. Not the complete photoset, but hopefully some of the best ones. You can find them in the Cutterpillow gallery.
