I'm a Software Engineer and researcher for Bibble Labs. I work on optimization as well as research for new pixel pumping goodness. I'm mostly a Mac guy and have focused heavily on PowerPC optimizations (Altivec), but with Apple's move to Intel processors I'm now focusing heavily on x86 (SSE) optimizations.
Previously I was a Software Engineer and researcher for Nikon Inc. I worked on optimizing and improving the core image processing engine that is shared by all of Nikon's applications, focusing on Mac platform optimizations. My experience there was with SIMD programming with an emphasis on AltiVec programming as well as multi-threaded programming and debugging. |
